At the town's wastewater treatment plant, there was a solar demonstration project of which is soon to take place and had been planned by the people of Chino Valley.
Staff of the town had been authorized by the town council to submit a request for the Arizona Department of Commerce Energy Efficiency Community Block Grant's information proposal.
This information proposal was for the town's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act allocation, hoping that it would not exceed the current budget of ninety one thousand, three hundred and seven dollars and twenty four cents.
